Reverse
So often the objects used for transportation or distribution of larger quantities of liquids like the office water cooler are overlooked. During a 3 month’s residency in Venice she was increasingly drawn to the Damigiana the local object used to make, transport and distribute wine.
In ‘Reverse’ Karhof decided to design an object in the spirit of the Damigiana. In collaboration with ‘Archimede Seguso’ she made a 50 cm high hand blown bottle, which sits in a hardwood crate that can be inverted and used for its display within the home and office environment.
